2008-present Director, Biomedical EPR Facility, Department (School) of Biological Sciences (DBS), University of Essex.

01/05-present Permanent Research staff, DBS, University of Essex

Funded: University of Essex; Research field: As a principal researcher of the Biomedical EPR facility, I am involved in a number of projects studying the paramagnetic states of metalloproteins and metalloenzymes in normal and pathological conditions.

07/95-01/05 Research staff, DBS, University of Essex.

Funded 06/03-01/05: 3 year contract with University of Essex. Research field: EPR spectroscopy of metalloproteins and metalloenzymes, oxidative stress reactions, reactive oxygen species, protein bound radicals.

Funded 06/00-05/03: 3 year grant (awarded by the Wellcome Trust to Prof Chris Cooper, DBS, and Prof Mervyn Singer, Bloomsbury Institute of Intensive Care Medicine, University College London). Research field: The role of bioenergetic processes in the multiple organ failure in patients with severe sepsis.
